Plans to update!
Introduction
I created this game a while ago, and it is not very exciting. It has no sound or colors, and is very bland compared to my other retro game, Retro Racing. However, I do plan to improve the gameplaay while keeping the same simplistic style with basic shapes. Here, I will describe my plans for improving the game. If you have any other ideas, feel free to let me know.
Style
The first thing I will change is the style of the game. To be similar with the direction these games are taking, I will change the color sheme to the one I talk about in this post. I will also change the font to the retro font I have been using in games such as Retro Racing and SCAL3R. The music will be from a retro music pack I have, and the sound effects will also be from a pack like this. I will overall try to create a simlar style to my other retro game.
Gameplay
Next, I want to work on how fun the game is to play. The answer is: not really. The ball bouces the same way every single playthrough, and all you have to do is be in the right place at the right time. I want to add further complication, such as the ball moving different based on your momentum at the time. I also want to add in, if possible, multiple levels with increasing difficulty. If I can figure it out, a speedrun timer and a leaderboard might do nicely.
